Jean Wynett French

Jean Wynett French, age 79, of Guttenberg, IA, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 10, 1938 in Des Moines, IA, the daughter of Jim and Clarirce Hutchins. Jean spent her early life in Des Moines where she graduated from North High School. On January 10, 1959, Jean was united in marriage with John H. French in Urbandale. Jean spent many years making her home and raising her children with John. She was Superwoman and she did it ALL including overcoming Breast Cancer. Jean enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, gardening & her spot in the sun. Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, John; children, John "Joe" French, Laura Breen, Tony French, Terry French/Erin Bass French & Theresa Doubek; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and many many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Catherine French & aunt Marion Reese.
