Jeanett Eglseder

Jeanette F. "Jeanie" Eglseder was born January 25, 1923, daughter of Edwin and Milda (Kricke) Kliefoth, in Luana. She died Friday, August 31, 2007, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Jeanie received her education from the Luana School in Luana Iowa. On September 29, 1948, she was united in marriage with Allen Eglseder at St. Josephs Church in Garnavillo. She was a homemaker on the family farm for many years. She worked as a kindergarten teachers aide in Garnavillo Community School and enjoyed working with the children. She was member of St. Josephs Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters and the Garnavillo Boosters Club. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends and most of all "BINGO". Survivors include two sons, Gene (Joan) Eglseder and Rick Eglseder of Garnavillo. Seven grandchildren, Laura (John) Glasgow, Jeff, Katie, Nick, Brad (Allison), Mandy and Brian Eglseder, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Bernell and sister-in-law, Marge Kliefoth.
