Jennie Couser

Jennie (Schippers) Couser was born the daughter of William Schippers and Mae (Raymie) Schippers on November 28 1916, in Reasnor, Iowa. She died Monday, October 25, 2004, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Jennie enjoyed fishing, gardening, running, antiquing and quilting. She spent many years raising her five children and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by her two daughters, Joyce Hammar of Los Angeles, Calif. and Virginia (Dennis) Roth of Guttenberg; three sons, Robert (Betty) DeCook of Guttenberg, Charles (Gloria) DeCook of Postville, Joseph (Pam) Carpenter of Cedar Rapids; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, two brother and two sistersInterment: Thursday October 28, 2004 11:30 A.M.
