Jerry. L Backes, 65, of Garnavillo, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at his home in Garnavillo, Iowa.

Currently, there will be no services held.

Jerry was born on May 24, 1957 in Prairie du Chien, WI, the son of Royce and Joyce (Werger) Backes.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Nathan) Kehoe, grandchildren: Dacotah, Jaxon and Rohman Kehoe, brothers: Randy(Sandy) Backes, and Rick Backes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter, Angel Kehoe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. There is a GoFundMe started in Jerry Backes name to assist with expenses incurred, if you wish to make a donation there.
