Jimmy J. Bolsinger

Jimmy Jay Bolsinger, age 63, of Greeley, IA, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester, IA. He was born the son of Lorence "Bill" and Iva (White) Bolsinger, June 13, 1948, near Graham, Iowa. Jimmy received his education locally and served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, and was owner and operator of the Bolsinger Logging Lumber & Custom Sawing. On September 26, 1970, he was united in marriage with Kay Kruse at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. He enjoyed playing cards, Diamond Jos Casino, Edgewood Car Cruise and was a member of the Elkport-Garber Jaycees. He is survived by his wife Kay; two daughters, Tammy (Craig Pritchard) Bolsinger of Garber and Terry Jo (James) Halverson of Earlville; one son, Scott (Jessica) Bolsinger of Greeley; four sisters, Sharon Beatty of Garnavillo, Judy (Richard) Hess of Dubuque, Janice (John) Moore of Volga, and Connie (Jacob) Beeh of Elkader; five brothers, Roger (Dianne) Bolsinger of Elkport, Harvey (Heidi) Bolsinger of Strawberry Point, Rick (Carol) Bolsinger of Elkport, Dennis (Lisa) Bolsinger of Garber, and Jeff (Darcy) Bolsinger of Elkport; eleven grandchildren, Michael, Karla, Paige, Luke, Trace, Hayley, Allison, Logan, Marci Jo, Zach, and Alexis; many nieces, nephews, and his dog, Lucy.
