John Henry Froehle

John Henry Froehle was born the son of John C. and Margaret (Spoden) Froehle on November 9, 1935 in Luxemburg Iowa. He died Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a short illness. John attended school in New Vienna and spent many years in carpentry and farming. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Marines. On October 15, 1955 he was united in marriage with Darlene Boemecke at St. Marys Catholic Church in Guttenberg. To this union, they were blessed with four children. This past fall they celebrated their 50 Wedding Anniversary. In his free time John enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his hands. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Darlene; two daughters, Margie (Jesse) Danalewich of Elberon, and Deb (Bob) Faust of Osterdock; two sons, John W. (Dawn) Froehle, and Robert J. (Kim) Froehle both of Colesburg; eight grandchildren and one step grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Frederick.Visitation: Friday 4:00-8:00 P.M.
