John Kramer

John was born on November 10, 1999 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Neil and Ellen (Kruse) Kramer. He attended Hennessy Elementary School in New Vienna, Iowa and was in the fifth grade. John enjoyed spending special time with his mom and loved helping his dad on the farm. He also loved spending time with his animals, riding his 4-wheeler, driving his IH Case 8940 and skid loader. John enjoyed playing baseball, spending time with his sisters and brothers, friends and especially his lifelong companion, "Puppy". Survivors include his parents, Neil and Ellen Kramer, siblings: Beth (Tony) Mescher of Guttenberg, Brian & Craig of New Vienna, Keith & Jenna at home, maternal grandmother, Donna Kruse, aunts & uncles: Barbara (Martin) Pape, Sharon (Kerry) Ungs, Phyllis (Dave) Blech, Amy (Matt) Mescher, Jill (Paul) Manternach, Lisa (Mike) Krapfl, Rob (Karla) Kruse, Jan (Ed) Day, Joyce (Dale Lenz) Kramer, Lynn (Steve) Galvin, Caril (Bruce) Clasen, Ellen (Jim) Funcke, Lee Ann (Mike) Gentry, Reyne (Don) Koopmann, Dean (Deb) Kramer, Phil (Jess) Kramer, and numerous cousins, classmates & friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald on Feb, 14, 1995 and Velma (Hullermann) Kramer on June 17, 2006, maternal grandfather, John "Jake" Kruse on Jan. 31, 2010. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2010, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg, Iowa where a parish scripture service will be held at 3 p.m. Friends may continue to call at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to funeral. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna, Iowa with burial in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Petersburg, Iowa. Officiating will be Rev. John O'Connor.
