John Mcgrane

John William McGrane, 68, of Guttenberg, Iowa (born in Hazel Green, Wisconsin), died on January 2, 2009 with his family by his side at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Beloved husband of Jean (Raible) McGrane; father of Carrie (Raible) and Steven Sylvester (West Palm Beach, FL), Kate (Raible) and Jim Watson Jr. (Pittsburgh, PA), and Jason McGrane (Pittsburgh, PA); grandfather of Elizabeth and Jack Sylvester and Grant Watson; son of the late Raymond and Emma (Bird) McGrane; and brother of Jeanette (McGrane) Hessling (Hazel Green, WI). John was a dedicated business owner, bookkeeper and tax preparer for for more than 40 years. He cherished the time spent with his family, friends, and the people of his community. His hobbies included being a dedicated father and grandfather, Green Bay Packer fan, member of Prairie La Porte service club, golfing and traveling to visit family members.
