Jon R Andregg

Jon Richard Andregg was born the son of John and Georgiana (Dremmel) Andregg, February 29, 1936, in Guttenberg. He died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Jon received his education from St. Marys Catholic School in Guttenberg; and served his country in the United States Navy. On December 27, 1958, he was united in marriage with Janice Kolker at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. He worked for the John Deere Dubuque works for ten years and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers at Lock and Dam # 10 in Guttenberg until his retirement. Jon enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, golfing, and hunting. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and member of Eagles Aerie #4114. He is survived by his wife, Janice; two daughters, Jonna (Jeff) Walters and Jacob, Jess, and Mina of Peosta, Jennifer (Eric) Griner and Thomas and William of Peosta; one son, Josh Andregg and Justin and Jace of Fairfax, IA; four sisters, Anna Stevens of Dubuque, Ellen (Charles) Burdeaux of Denver, Colo. Charlene Andregg and Fran Ulbrich both of Guttenberg; two brothers, Richard Andregg of Guttenberg and Gerald (Betty) Andregg of Garnavillo; many nieces, nephews and friends.
