Joyce Vorwald

Joyce Marie Vorwald, age 52, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Garnavillo, died Saturday, December 11, 2004, at her daughters home, rural Mc Gregor, IA She was born the daughter of the Ervin "Jack" and Agnes (Burr) Vorwald, August 20, 1952, in Guttenberg. Joyce graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1970, and worked in real state as a (Project Manager and Realtor) for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and cooking and was a former Ambassador to the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce. Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Emily Dolan of Van Horne, Iowa, Carrie Dolan of rural McGregor, and Bobbi (Ethan) Lydon of Valdosta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Tyson, Izaac and Riley; two sisters, Mary (Dale) Dettman of Saint Olaf, and Karla (Harlan) Dettman of Mc Gregor; two brothers, Harold (Joanne) Vorwald of Monona, and Lloyd (Patricia) Vorwald of Holy Cross, and many other relatives and friends.
