She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold in 1973, a son, Donald in 1975 and a sister, Ellouise Kluesner. Judy was born on February 1, 1939 in New Vienna, Iowa, the daughter of Victor and Lucille (Koelker) Vaske. She married Harold H. Meyers on June 15, 1959 in New Vienna, Iowa. Together they farmed near Luxemburg.
