Julie Ann Schlueter

Obituary Julie Ann Schlueter, age 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, December 27, 2021 in the comfort of her own home. She was born the only child of Jerry and Donna (Miller) Balk on March 30, 1966 in Guttenberg Iowa. Julie was united in marriage to Tom Schlueter on June 14, 1986 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Guttenberg, to this union one daughter was born, Ashley Jean Schlueter. Julie worked for a number of years at Rockwell Collins until recent when she went to work as an Administrative Services Coordinator for Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals for the last 6 years Julies life will forever be cherished by her husband of 35 years Tom, her daughter Ashley (Matt) Wimmer, father, Jerry Balk; brother in laws, sister in laws & many other relatives and friends. Julie is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Balk; both her paternal and maternal grandparents, In-laws Albert and Regina Schlueter.
