Julina Ella Kunzman was born the daughter of LeRoy and Mary (Hass) Berns on March 17, 1914, in Garber Iowa. She passed away Tuesday December 11, 2007 at her grandsons home in Pittsboro Ind after a short illness. Julina received her education in a one-room country school in Garber. On July 3, 1937, she was united in marriage with Albert Kunzman in Volga. Together they owned and operated Kunzman Motor Company in Guttenberg for 51 years. Julina was very dedicated to St. Marys Catholic Church and spent much of her time keeping up her home. Spending time with her family and friends brought her much happiness in her life. Those left to cherish her memory are, one daughter, Mary (Don) Snider of La Porte Ind; one son, Lee Kunzman of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Stewart (Lorri) Hackett, Craig (Tina) Stence and Clay (Julie) Stence; two great grandchildren, Kaela Stence and Beau Krallman; one brother Earl Berns of St. Olaf. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Kay Hackett; one sister, Irene DeBuck; three brothers, Lester, Alvin and Herbert Berns.
