Keith Mohning

Keith Frederick John Mohning was born the son of Foster and Laura (Rodas) Mohning on July 21, 1936 on the family farm near McGregor Iowa. He died peacefully in his home on Monday, December 10, 2007 after a brief illness. Keith graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1954 and farmed for many years in the Garnavillo area until his retirement in 1998. On January 25, 1959 Keith was united in marriage with Roylene "Bobbi" Hoth at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Monona. To this union they were blessed with two children. Keith served his church faithfully as a long time member. He served on many committees and was presently on the church council. He also served on many community committees and boards. Keith enjoyed a good steak, combining corn, watching sports on television, especially the New York Yankees, visiting with people on his outdoor walks, and spending time with family and friends. Keiths memory will be forever cherished by his wife Roylene "Bobbi" Mohning; one son, Jon (Tammy) Mohning of West Des Moines; one daughter, Janet Mohning of Orland Park, Ill.;; two brothers, Roger (Julainne) Mohning of Monona, and David (Suzanne) Mohning of Nashville, Tenn.
