Kenneth Habel

Kenneth J. Habel, 76, of Luxemburg, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Monday, April 29, 2013, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Luxemburg, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Ray Burkle will officiate. Kenny Habel was born on August 3, 1936, to Harold and Delores (Cummer) Habel. Kenny married Julie Meyers of Luxemburg on August 1, 1962. Survivors include his wife, Julie Habel, children: Denise Habel of Minneapolis, MN, Joseph (Dawn) Habel of Petersburg, and Jaime (Kris) Habel of Dubuque, 4 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a sister, Suzanne (Rick) Hoeger of New Vienna He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald Habel, and a brother-in-law, Harold (Judith) Meyers.
