Kevin P. Manders was born the son of Lester and Doris (Donovan) Manders, born March 21, 1957, in Maquoketa, Iowa. He died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at St. Catherines Hospital in East Chicago, Indiana. Following a sudden illness. On July 25, 1992, he was united in marriage with Cathy Ambler in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Kevin was self employed at Prairie Feed lot for 4 years: owned and operated a farm in Seneca for 4 years, then moved to Guttenberg to be closer to his children and grandchildren in 2002. Here, he started CK Transport as a long haul truck driver (or as Dad called it "Scenic Specialist"). Kevin enjoyed spending his free time with his friends, family and especially his Grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memories are his wife, Cathy; his father, Mr. Lester Manders of Mt. Sterling, Wisconsin; two daughters, Heidi Manders & Shawn Horstman, and Brandy (Tim) Rausch both of Guttenberg: one son, Joshua Manders & Nicole Kueter of Guttenberg; grandchildren, Austin, Dillan, Lillian, and Kaiden; five sisters, Mary LaVonne (Jim) Mitchell of Lansing, Iowa, Deborah (Chris) Mussatti of De Soto, Wisconsin, Christina (Jan) Moll of Fennimore, Wisconsin, Mary Deanna (Michael) Ricco of Boscobel, Wisconsin, and Bette Manders & Daniel Howe of Waukon; four brothers, Louis (Kathy) Manders of Joplin, Missouri, Paul (Loretta) Manders of Seneca, Wisconsin, Carl Manders of De Soto, Wisconsin, and Sylvester (Tonya) Manders of Boscobel, Wisconsin; twelve nephews and fifteen Nieces, and many friends.
