Kimberly Jo Werger

Obituary Kimberly Jo (Draper) Werger, age 64, of Garnavillo, passed away on March 1, 2020 after a long battle with lung cancer and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Kim was preceded in death by her foster parents Tom and Bea Leffingwell, Dale Anderson, Jen Draper Topp and Bernice Blunk. It would be wrong to say that Kim lost her battle because she never stopped fighting, No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Kim stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looked like. There was no quit in Kim. Just because she is no longer with us doesn't mean she lost her fight. Kim is survived by her husband, Ronald Werger, each of their children and spouses; Candetia (Jeff) Thompson, Jeffery (Amanda) Draper, Alicia (Maurice) Werger, and Jay (Michelle) Tortorici; her grandchildren, Austin Holcomb, Emeryn Avant and Gabriel Tortorici. She is also survived by her sister's and brothers; Rudy (Cathy) Draper, Gene (Coleen) Draper, Elaine Anderson, Colleen (Pete) Ringgenberg, Jerry (Kim) Draper and close long time friend Vern Blunk. Kim wanted a graveside burial with just her family and closest friends when the weather permits. Services Private Family Services at a later date
