Lee Allen Horstman

Obituary Lee Allen Horstman, age 73, of Guttenberg, IA, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, January 14, 2023. He was born on April 24, 1949, the son of Eugene and Hilda (Paulsen) Horstman. Lee attended and graduated from the Guttenberg High School with the class of 1968. After high school, Lee worked for Hilton Homes until he took a custodial job at the Guttenberg School where he worked for over 37 years until his retirement. Lee was a very proud supporter of the Guttenberg Pirates & Clayton Ridge Eagles. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and he thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the park watching the traffic on the Mississippi River. Lee is survived by his sister, Twila (David) Wubben of Mason City; brother, David (Shirley) Horstman of East Dubuque; nieces and nephews, Cassandra Covotsos, Kayla Cox, Michael, Scott & Kati Wubben; great nieces and nephews, Skylar, Willow, Aleeya, Ryleigh, Kinsley, Derek, Declan, Huxton, Brekyn & Zander and many more family and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
