Lila Jean Schrader

Lila Jean Schrader, age 73, of Guttenberg, was born the daughter of Frederick and Sula (Walters) Schrader, February 16, 1932 in Garber. She died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Guttenberg Care Center. Lila graduated from the Guttenberg High School, attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Business. She was employed by Veterans Affairs Hospitals in the Hines, Illinois, St. Petersburg, Florida, Iowa City, Iowa, where she worked as a Medical Records Librarian. and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, IA. She enjoyed reading, shopping and traveling. Survivors include one brother, Frederick Schrader of Guttenberg, and special friends, Sister Clara Mae Kuempel and Hattie Appleton both of Guttenberg.
