Linda Kay Friday

Obituary Linda Kay Friday, age 73, of Guttenberg, IA, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. She was born on August 18, 1944 in Independence, the daughter of Dr. Andrew and Robertta (Truax) McGrath. Linda attended and graduated from the Jesup Community School with the class of 1962. She spent many years working as a bookkeeper in the insurance industry. Linda had a love for the river, playing euchre, crocheting things for her family; spending hours on puzzles. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Tracy (Bryan) Ciuffo, Dean (Arian) Friday, three grandchildren; Mikayla and Brianna Cuiffo, and Claire Friday; sisters; Patricia (Robert) Merkel, Roxanne Blankenship; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary in 2005 and one sister Miriam Basquin.
