Lois Kulper

Services were private.Lois E. (Gorkow) Kulper, age 98, of Guttenberg, died Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Guttenberg Care Center. Lois was born on June 16, 1916 to Gustav and Gettsie (Bowman) Gorkow. She graduated from Colesburg High School and later was married to Harvey Kulper in 1936. She was the owner of H & L Kafe in Millville and was known for catering weddings & events at Lakeside until she retired. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and special dogs. Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Ronald) Nuehring; two sons, Ronnie Kulper and Phillip (Patricia) Kulper; 11 grandchildren, Clay (Nancy) Nuehring, Monte (Brenda) Nuehring, Kyle Nuehring, Cory Nuehring, Todd (Tonya) Randall, Toni (Mike) Tujetsch, Terry (Jeaneen) Randall, Benji Kulper, Sarah (Brad) Letterle, Brent (Shelby) Kulper, and Blain (Brooke) Kulper; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Gilda (Kulper) Miller, and one brother-in-law, Robert Kulper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harvey, two daughters, Beverly and Becky, one brother, and five sisters.
