Lois Manson

Lois L. (Thiese) Manson was born the daughter of Reuben and Hulda (Geuder) Thiese on September 23, 1928 on the home farm in rural Garnavillo. She died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Lois graduated from the Guttenberg High School and went on to cook in several restaurants. She also was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary in which she was a past president. In her free time Lois enjoyed quilting, embroidering and baking goods for special events. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tim (Laura) Manson and Tom (Lisa) Manson both of Guttenberg; one grandson, Kevin Manson of Grand Haven MI; one great granddaughter, Mackanna Alexys, and one brother, Wayne (Janice) Thiese of Guttenberg.
