Survivors include his wife, Mary, 3 daughters: Kathy (Avery) Crary of Hopkinton, Susan (Rick) Lawler of Epworth and Debra (Matt) Puetz of Dubuque, 5 sons: Kenneth (Deanna Ploessl), Jeff and Jim all of Luxemburg, Charles (fiancé Jenny Wulfekuhle) of Dyersville and Bob (Julie) of Petersburg, 3 grandchildren: Hannah Lawler and Heather and Brook Crary, 2 sisters: Diane (Adrian) Vaske of Bernard and Marcia (Roger) Goldsmith of Elkader, one brother, Wayne (Millie) Arnold of Worthington, his father-in-law, Bernard Wiskus, 6 brothers-in-law: Bill & Eileen Wiskus, Merlin (Sharon Geers) Wiskus, Ronald & Monica Wiskus, Daniel & Linda Wiskus, David & Mickey Wiskus and Alan & Jeannie Wiskus, one sister-in-law, Barb Wiskus. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Steve, his mother-in-law, Malinda Wiskus and a brother-in-law, John Wiskus. Loras was born on October 20, 1947 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Ambrose and Lucille (Stelken) Arnold. He married Mary Wiskus on April 12, 1969 in Luxemburg, Iowa. Together they farmed 33 years near Luxemburg. He served in the Army Reserve for 6 years.
