DYERSVILLE, IOWA Luke D. Wohlers, 59 of Dyersville, Iowa passed away Thursday, October 28 while working in eastern Nebraska. Visitation will be held from 3 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Journey Church in Dubuque, Iowa with burial immediately following in Bear Creek Cemetery in Brandon. Pastor Terry Bemis will officiate. Luke was born on September 10, 1962 in Bellevue, Iowa, the son of Donald and Janet (Gerlich) Wohlers. He married Christine Young on August 6, 1983 in Manchester, Iowa. Luke was a kindhearted man who loved his family dearly. His quick wit was entertaining and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Beyond Luke’s first love of the Lord came his family. Survivors include his wife, Christine, children: Jenny and Matt Gordon and their children, Nevaeh, Grace, and Emma of New Vienna, Matt and Ashley Wohlers and their children, Piper and Olivia, and Tyler and Temara Wohlers and their children, Taylor, Torrie, and Trenton all of Dyersville, his father, Don and Bev Godsey Wohlers of Asbury, siblings: Cindy (Mike “Smiley”) Kramer of Dyersville, in-laws: Margie (Kevin) Wheeler of Mosinee, WI, Randy J. Young and dear friend, Mallory of Wisconsin, and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Wohlers, parents-in-law, James A. and Karen Young Wohlers.
