Lynell Mcelmeel

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Vigil service at 7:30 PM at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Lynell was born on February 11, 1930 in Iowa the son of Lonald and Leona (Jasper) McElmeel. He is a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the American Legion in Dyersville, IA. He worked at the Waukesha Freeman for 33 years. Lynell will be sadly missed by his children, Sue (Terry) Shinnick of Oak Lawn, IL, Bev (Paul) Frydenlund of Hayfield, MN, Tom (Jennifer) McElmeel of Waukesha, Bob (Kristin) McElmeel of Arlington Heights, IL and Kim McElmeel of Milwaukee; grand children, Kyle, Kristy, Kelly, Kevin, Tim, Andrew, Lindsey, Lisa Brian, Sean, Peter and Colin; sisters, Kathleen (Dave) Luensmann of Westminster, CO, Bernadine Thielen of Dyersville, IA, and Pat (Bill) Dougherty of Dubuque, IA. Lynell is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Shaffer of Dubuque, IA.
