She had great character and wit. Her heart was bigger than the community she so loved and lived in for all her 85 years. Her love of reading inspired her to campaign for and eventually open the small Worthington library. Her accomplishments were many, but the greatest was opening her home and heart to those who needed her. She and dad welcomed her brother, Bob and many nieces and nephews into our home. Together we were raised as one family, the way it should be. She will forever live in all our memories and hearts. Thank you to Dr. Kukla, Dr. Miner and your staffs for the extraordinary care you gave to mom and to Hospice of Dubuque for your kindness and compassion. A special thanks to our uncle, Bob who took great care of mom for so many years. We love you. Memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous of Iowa, Aiming for a Cure Foundation or St. Paul Parish in Worthington. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.kramerfuneral.com.
