Marcella Klostermann

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Irene Klostermann of Dubuque and many nieces and nephews including Merlin (Mary) Osterhaus of Holy Cross, IA, Dale (Janice) Osterhaus of Waterville, IA and Wayne (Nancy) Osterhaus of Columbus, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers: Louis, Ray, Al, Joe, Bill and George Klostermann; 5 sisters: Mayme "Mary" Osterhaus, Sr. Charlene OSF (Ida), Emma Welchert, Viola Kass and Pauline Klostermann. Marcella was born on August 15, 1915 in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Frances (Fangman) Klostermann. She graduated from the Iowa Braille & Sight Saving School in Vinton, IA. in 1936. Marcella was a member of the Xavier society for the blind and the American foundation for the blind. She enjoyed music, reading and listening to the radio.
