Margaret Goedken

Margaret was born on February 6, 1915 in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Valentine J. and Pauline E. (Engler) Christoph. She married Ray Goedken on October 9, 1937 in Dyersville, Iowa. Margaret was a member of the Resurrection Choir and Dyersville Choir. She was a former Secretary of the ACCW, Charter member of the Dyersville Hosital Auxiliary, volunteer at Oak Crest Manor and a guide at the Dyer-Botsford House. Survivors include four sons: Duane (Mary Ellen) Goedken of Muscatine, IA, Phil (Sue) Goedken of Lake Wales, FL, Gary (Candy) Goedken of Green Bay, WI and Chris (Kathy) Goedken of Dyersville, IA; 10 grandchildren, Lynne, Beth, Brian, Matt, Charlie, Jennie, Jack, Peggy, John and Anne Goedken. 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 1986, and a daughter, Ann, in 1979. 4 brothers, John, Alfred, Louis and Cyril Christoph, 2 sisters, Linda Christoph and Louise Brown.
