Mary Agnes Muller

Mary Agnes (Berns) Muller, 83, resident of the Great River Care Center of Mc Gregor, IA, died Friday, April 16, 2010. She was born the daughter of Edward and Anna (Peck) Berns on May 31, 1926 in Dubuque Iowa. Mary graduated from the St. Andrews High School in Tennyson Wis and attended the Bayless Business College in Dubuque. On September 23, 1963, she was united in marriage with Gilbert John Muller. With her business education, Mary worked as a bookkeeper for many years and she also helped farm with her family. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Daughters and enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden. Marys memory will be forever cherished by her three children, Joseph Muller of Edgewood NM, Catherine Muller of Prairie du Chien Wis, Jeanette (Chris Beck) Muller of Warren IL; step children, Gloria Muller of Guttenberg, Sharon Mathias of Potosi Wis, Charlene Muller of Dubuque, Virginia (Gary) Schmelzer of Garnavillo, Marilyn Muller of Aurora CO and Carol Muller of Phoenix AZ; one step daughter in law, Rose Ann Muller of Mondovi Wis, 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two step sons, John and James.In Lieu of flowers and all other gifts, donations may be sent to the Alzheimers Association, Garnavillo Library or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garnavillo, IowaVisitation: Tuesday 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
