Mary Schneiter

Mary was born on February 16, 1926, in the family home at Monticello the daughter of Joseph & Angie Bader Oswald. She married Harold F. Schneiter on June 11, 1947 at Sacred Catholic Church in Monticello. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Monticello. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and gardening especially her flowers. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her five children: Jerry (Carol) Schneiter of Colesburg, Iowa, Kathy (Ken) Cole of Independence, Iowa Tom Schneiter and Dick (Judy) Schneiter both of Monticello, Iowa and Diane (Rick) Lange of Hopkinton. Iowa, Fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sisters Patty McDonell of Monticello, Iowa, and Katie (Bob) Hunt of Hopkinton Iowa She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1997, and one son Michael in infancy, one grandson Brian Lange in 1983, two brothers Lloyd and Earl and two brother-in-law Bill McDonell, and Elmer Schneiter.
