Mary Willenborg

Mrs. Willenborg was born November 15, 1931 in Petersburg, Iowa the daughter of Lawrence and Mathilda (Willenbring) Rolfes. She married Gilbert B. Willenborg April 21, 1953 in Petersburg, Iowa. Mary Ann was a housewife and homemaker. Mary Ann and Gib farmed in the Petersburg area for 46 years then retired and moved to Dyersville in 2000. She cooked several years at the Petersburg Hall. Mary Ann enjoyed cards, bingo, embroidery and bowling. Mary Ann was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband Gilbert. 2 sons, Danny (Cindy) Willenborg and Rick Willenborg both of Dyersville. 1 daughter, Shirley (Pete) Sciortino of Tucson, AZ. 9 Grandchildren, Joanie Pope, Jamie, Tracey, Terry and Jody Willenborg, Melissa, Christine, Peter Michael and Timothy Sciortino. 1 brother, Marvin (Janet) Rolfes of Colesburg, IA. The Parish Scripture Service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Kramer Funeral Home
