Matthew Richard Aulwes

Matthew Richard Aulwes, age 21, of Millville, IA, was called to heaven on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 15, 1990 in Guttenberg to Rick and Linda Aulwes. Matthew grew up in the Guttenberg area where he graduated from Clayton Ridge School with the class 2009. After school, Matthew worked as an auto body mechanic. Matthew loved anything to do with cars. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, hitting golf balls, getting his trucks dirty, aggravating his nieces, snowboarding, loved his Fords, not bowties. Matthew collected guns and knives and enjoyed taking walks through the woods. Matthew will be forever loved and cherished by his parents, Rick and Linda Aulwes; sister Amanda (Chad) Ihde; brother Robert (Stacey) Aulwes; nieces, Kaysi and Haleigh Ihde; paternal grandmother Lois Aulwes; puppy Jeffrey, special friend Brittany and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Robert "Bob" Aulwes; maternal grandparents, Dale & Betty Niehaus.In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up for Matthew and they may be mailed to 36251 Graham Rd Guttenberg IA 52052.Memorial Service: Saturday 11:00 A.M.
