Maymie Minger

Maymie Estella Minger, age 89, of Marion, IA, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Linn Manor Care Center in Marion, IA. She was born the daughter of Albert and Blanch (Penhollow) Minger on January 10, 1920 in Canada. Maymie received her education locally and worked various jobs throughout her life. She took care of several families by doing house work for them. Maymie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she collected several pictures of them over many years. Maymie will be missed by her two sisters, Vera (Gene) Patrick of Guttenberg, and Opal Dean of Fort Dodge, IA; five nieces and nephews, Susan (Steve) Rausch, Dennis (Tammi) Dean, Doug (Dawn) Dean, Barbara Dean, Beth Dean and several great nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Alton Minger and one brother in law Robert Dean.In Lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Linn Manor Care Center in Marion Iowa.Visitation: Tuesday 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
