Mildred Hageman

Mildred Anna (Brandenburg) Hageman was born the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Wendt) Brandenburg, November 18, 1910, on the family farm near Garber. She died Thursday, November 25, 2004, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Mildred graduated from the Elkport High School; farmed with her family, and was a homemaker for many years. On June 18, 1930 she was united in marriage with Earl Hageman in Mildreds parents home near Garber. After moving to Guttenberg, Mildred worked for Muters Co Original Enders Co. and enjoyed knitting, cooking, traveling, quilting, crocheting and being an active member in the Dorcas circle at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Kay (Lowell) Dickerson of Sun Rise Beach Texas, and Judith (Melvin) Koski of Marion; one son, Lyle (Ruth) Hageman of Hilton Head Island, S.C. six grandchildren, Anne (Steve) Kraft, Susan Hageman, Angelete (Brian) Finzen, Michael (Amy) Koski, Sarah Dickerson, and Scott (Karen) Dickerson; ten great grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Charles and Arno Brandenburg and a brother in infancy; and seven sisters, Alma Troester, Leona Noack, Hilma Noack, Bertha Webber, Roma Lindenberg, Alice Waterman, and Edna White.Visitation: 3:00-6:00 P.M.
