Mildred Koelker

Survivors include her 2 brothers: LuVern of Dyersville and Allan (Marian) of Petersburg, 2 sisters: Alma Vaske of Dyersville and Cora Gerken of Phoenix, AZ., sister-in-law, Ruth Koelker and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Evelyn Koelker and Lucille Vaske and 2 brothers: Edmund and Lawrence Koelker, 2 sisters-in-law: Anna Mae Koelker and Clara Koelker, 3 brothers-in-law: Clete Vaske, Victor Vaske and Charles Gerken. Mildred was born on April 18, 1918 in Petersburg, Iowa, the daughter of Anton "Tony"and Catherine "Kate" (Kramer) Koelker. She grew up and attended school in Petersburg until the 8th grade. Millie later became a housekeeper for Msgr. Joseph Dunne for 50 years. Her love and most precious moments and memories were spent at St. Columbkille's in Dubuque.
