Mildred Philbrook

Services will be private.Mildred Darlene (Moser) Philbrook, age 81, of Guttenberg, IA, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at the Guttenberg Care Center. She was born the daughter of Edward and Hattie (Smith) Moser on October 25, 1929 in Turkey River Iowa. Mildred graduated from High School and worked in various jobs. On September 20, 1958 she was united in marriage with Herbert Philbrook in Belvidere IL. To this union they were blessed with three children. Mildred spent much of her life as a homemaker and made great efforts to care for her children. Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Vicki Smith, Richard (Jenny) Philbrook and Alan (Kim) Philbrook; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Nicole Darlene Philbrook and a sister Cora Wachendorf. Service Information A service summary is not available
