Morris Edward Rodenberg was born the son of Edward and Louise (Schroeder) Rodenberg, June 20, 1919, on the family farm near Guttenberg. He died Saturday, December 17, 2005, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Morris received his education from the Walke Country School, and farmed with his family for many years, helping with the harvest this fall. He enjoyed dancing, trout fishing, deer hunting and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. On August 12, 1941, he was united in marriage with Delite Zittergruen at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elkport. Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Marlys (Larry) Friedlein, and Susan (Dennis) Koehn both of Guttenberg; one son, Roger (Pat) Rodenberg of Guttenberg; one brother, Edward (LaVonne) Rodenberg of Guttenberg; Nine Grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delite; one sister, Burnette Livingston; one brother, LaVerl Rodenberg; one great granddaughter, Kayla Preston; and one great grandson, Derek Friedlein.
