Muriel Ann Roquet

Muriel Ann Roquet, age 79, of Elkader, IA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the Elkader Care Center. She was born on February 9, 1937, in Westgate, IA, the daughter of William and Edna Buhr. Muriel received her education locally and later achieved her Associates of Arts degree from Wartburg College. Muriel was a long time member of the Elkader Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed spending time with her family. Muriel is survived by her children, Tammy (Scott) Fischer, Ramona (Ron) Quesenberry, David Roquet, Pamela (Anthony) Bill, Dorinda (Dan) Potter, Brett (Tina) Roquet, Corinne Roquet, Twilia (Micah) Argenio, Kristie (Jehdiah) Argenio, Jared Roquet; seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchild; siblings, Elda Judisch, Mardella Buhr, Iva Gauntiz, Lee Buhr and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband David; grandson, Andrew Roquet; brothers, Floyd and Delbert Buhr. In Lieu of flowers and all types of sympathy, Muriel has requested memorials that will contribute to the greater good for the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
