NaValle Eglseder, age 88, of Guttenberg, IA, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Guttenberg Care Center. He was born on May 9, 1928 in Elkader Iowa, the son of Henry and Pearl Eglseder. NaValle received his education from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garnavillo and was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was united in marriage with Delight Armstrong and they were later blessed with two sons, John and Jerry. Years later, NaValle was married to Camilla Balk until she passed away in 2012. NaValle was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Eagles Club and loved to go fishing. Surviving include children, John (Karla) Eglseder, Guttenberg, Jerry (Stormy) Eglseder, Bellevue; Jerry (Donna) Balk, Betty (Ray) Meyer both of Guttenberg, Dean (Mona) Balk of Los Angeles CA, Bonnie (Chuck) Morarend of Dubuque, Dave (Keri) Balk of San Diego CA; grandchildren, Amy Jo (John) Clefisch, Jordan Eglseder, Adam Toups, Ryan Toups, Derek (Jenna) Christoffer, Danny Christoffer; 6 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. NaValle was preceded in death by his parents, two wives & grandson, Dustin Eglseder.
