Neil Goerdt

Survivors include nieces & nephews: Suzanne Pins, Nancy (Joe) Knepper, Jan (Dan) Smith, Audrey (Jim) Golden, Ken (Kim) Pins, Dick (Janie) Goerdt, Ron (Bev) Goerdt, Randy (Sandy) Goerdt, Mike (Darla) Goerdt, Billy (Kira) Goerdt, Kevin (Annette) Goerdt, Jim (Shannan) Goerdt, Tom (Peggy) Goerdt, Rob Goerdt, Sandi (Bill) Maiers and a sister-in-law, Donna Goerdt of Dyersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lloyd F. Goerdt, one sister, Lois Pins and a brother-in-law Anthony "Tony" Pins. Neil was born on May 4, 1935 in Dyersville, Iowa, the son of William Bernard and Emma Bernadette (Woerdehoff) Goerdt. He was employed by Tobin Produce and later by the Ertl Co. for 25 years. Neil was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish scripture service will be held at 4 p.m.
