Patricia Ann Held

Patricia A. Held, 81, of Princeton, IA and formerly of Earlville, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Patricia was born on March 28, 1940, in Pipestone, MN, the daughter of Fred C. and Myrtle (Johnson) Moore. She married Keith Held on December 3, 1966, in Sioux City. They moved to Earlville in 1980. She was a homemaker, Cub Scout Den Leader, and most of all she was very fond of her children and grandchildren. She had a great passion for animals of all types, especially for their two American Eskimo dogs, Buddy and Koda. Patricia is survived by her three children: Sean Held of Dyersville, Alicia (Jason) Waldmann of Princeton, Iowa, and Scott (Kathleen) Held of Bettendorf; 3 grandchildren: Adeline, Samuel and Violet Held; siblings: Nancy J. Schultz of Bloomfield, NE and Bruce H. (Roberta) Moore of Rocky Mount, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith in 2012, a nephew, David L. Held and a niece Denise Held.
