Patricia 'Pat' Wolter

Obituary Patricia Wolter, age 74, of Saint Olaf, IA, died Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born on December 13, 1947, in Dyersville IA, the daughter of Elmer and Alma (Reis) Brunsmann. Pat received her education in Manchester, IA and graduated with the class of 1966. Throughout the 27 years she worked for Swiss Valley she started in the bagging room and worked herself up to Lab Tech until she retired in 2010. On September 23, 1974, Pat was united in marriage with Bert Wolter in Elgin, IA. Pat was an avid gardener, loved her flowers as well as watching birds. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bowling either with friends or league. Pat LIVED on the river. Shes been boating on the Mississippi every year since 1975. She thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the houseboat, fishing & socializing. Pat will be missed by many including her husband of almost 48 years, Bert; children, Terry (Nancy) Cook, Stacey (Marykate) Wolter, Traci (Randy) Beason; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren; 5 great step grandchildren; 4 siblings, Dan Brunsmann, Jane (Ray) Philippson, Al (Deb) Brunsmann, Rick Brunsmann and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Alma Brunsmann; mother and father in law, Adolph & Lorraine Wolter; grandson, Spencer Cook.
