Patrick Freese

Survivors include his parents Duane & Jeanette, and a sister Lisa (Larry) Zangs and sons Ian & Brendan of St. Paul MN, and a brother Shawn and sons Tyler & Jared of Ely Iowa. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jeffery and Joseph, both in infancy, and Grandparents Emil & Josephine Greif, and Gerhard and Josephine Freese. Pat attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Monticello High School in 1973. Pat received his Associate Degree from Kirkwood Community College. He worked in the farm implement business for several years before returning to the family farm near Monticello, which he operated for the last 25 years. Pat loved snowmobiling, photography and guitar playing. He was a member of the Monticello Men's Choir, Farm Bureau and NFO.
