Paul Knepper

Survivors include his wife, Gladys, 4 sons: Guy (Laurie) and Paul J. (Kerry) both of Williamsburg, Iowa, Glen (Rosemary) of Lost Nation, Iowa and Todd (Ann) of Worthington, Iowa, 4 daughters: Jessica (Wayne) Kelley of Davenport, Iowa, Jennifer (Barry) Brown of Olathe, Kansas, June Knepper of Cascade, Iowa and Heidi (Bill) Kluesner of Farley, Iowa; 25 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: George (Alma) Knepper of Cascade and Mike (Jean) Knepper of Dyersville; 4 sisters: Irene (Ernie) Recker of Iowa City, Helen (Frank) Carroll of Ryan, Joan (John) Anstoetter of Dubuque and Ida (John) Trumm of Cascade, son-in-law, Ron Hosch of Cascade and a sister-in-law, Mary Knepper of Dyersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Jodi Hosch, 3 brothers: Loras, Carl and Walter and a sister Rosalyn Ludwig. Memorials are preferred lieu of flowers and may be directed to the family or Kramer Funeral Home Paul was born on December 13, 1926 in Cascade, Iowa, the son of William and Ida (Kremer) Knepper. He married Gladys Gassman on August 12, 1950 in Worthington, Iowa where they farmed until their retirement in 1992. Paul was a lifetime member of the Cascade Knights of Columbus Council 930, on the Dubuque County Fair Board, the Beckman High School Booster Club, a Worthington Sportsmen member and a 4-H leader for 25 years.
