Peggy Long

Survivors include her 2 sons, Rick (Connie) of Dubuque and Mike (Patty) of Wauconda, IL, 8 grandchildren: Heather Maloney, of Lisbon, IA, Adam (Melissa) Long of Seal Beach, CA, Stefanie Long of Wauconda, IL, Cory and Kyle Long of Dubuque, Sarah, Chris and Kaitlyn Kelly of Wauconda, IL, 3 great-grandchildren: Allyson and Maxwell Maloney and Mia Long and a sister, Mona Jane (Gary) Dickerson of Centrailia, MO. Peg was born on April 10, 1926 in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Tom W. Turner and Leta Ballinger Martin. She married Charles E. Long on April 13, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Peg worked at J.C. Penny for many years as a sales clerk. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Epworth, American Legion Auxiliary, and a volunteer at the Dyer Botsford House. Peg enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time.
