Rebecca Ann Dysart was born the daughter of James and Donna (Cain) Dysart on February 20, 1960 in Killeen Texas. She was called home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Rebecca was raised and educated in Killeen Texas. Rebecca will be missed by her daughter Ashley Scotti of Marquette; Fiance' Paul Gallagher and his son Paul Jr.; two sisters: Leah Garcia and Keisha Snyder; one brother: James Dysart and many nieces,nephews and friends. For many years Rebecca worked as a care giver for the disabled in Texas, and here in Iowa at G & G Living Centers. She was also a truck driver and equipment operator which delighted and challenged her. Rebecca enjoyed sewing, gardening, house plants and remodeling her home. Rebecca treasured Ashley, cherished her fiance' as a soul mate who gave her a sense of her true beauty and worth. Suffering in her early life created in her a deep compassion as well as an intense sense of justice which impacted the lives of those she served at G&G and her team at Pattison Sand Mine where she had a motherly affection for each individualThere will be a prayer service at 4:00 P.M. by Sister Suzanne Gallagher.A memorial has been established in Rebeccas name and you may send donations to the Disabled American Veterans Association.Visitation: Sunday 1:00 - 4:00 P.M.
