Richard John Albers

ANAMOSA, IOWA Richard J. Albers, 77, of Anamosa, Iowa died Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home. Richard was born October 27, 1943 the son of William “Bill” and Lucetta (Siebels) Albers. He married Mary Burkey in 1976. Rick was a self-employed contractor and built or worked on many of the homes in the Anamosa area. Survivors include his wife Mary, two children; Rod (Michelle) Albers and Rochelle Mackey both of Anamosa, grandchildren, Gage and Gavin Albers and Dylan Mackey, two great granddaughters, Emma Mackey and Rylee Albers, step daughter, Rene (Kevin) Wyant-Petrilli of Mesquite, TX, step-grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle and Nicole, Savon and Alyssia, siblings, Dale Albers of Kansas City, KS, Sheri (Richard) Latchaw-Albers of Sacramento, CA.
