Richard Andrew Moser was born the son of Andrew and Bertha (Hansel) Moser, October 7, 1935, near Osterdock. He died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at home following an extended illness. Rich received his education from country school and Guttenberg High School. On December 14, 1957, Rich was united in marriage to Bernice Davis at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. They lived a short while in Swisher Iowa where Rich was employed at Iowa Manufacturing. In 1961, they returned to Guttenberg and made their home in Osterdock where Rich was employed at Livingstons Lumber Co. for 36 years. Rich enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing music. Through the years, Rich started bands such as, The Country Gentlemen and The Sounds of Nashville. Survivors include his wife Bernice; one daughter, Linda (Chris) Ludovissy of Osterdock; one son, Steve (Cindy) Moser of Garber; five grandchildren, Danny, Steven, Nicole, Jesse and Jenna, two step grandchildren, Jody (Carl) Greve and Jill (Chris) Harmon; three great step grandchildren, Kara, Joseph and Ryleigh.
