Robert Lake

Robert "Bob" Lake, age 62, of Guttenberg, IA, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on September 30, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Anthony and Margaret (Patterson) Lake. After graduating high school, Bob attended one year of trade school. He was employed by John Deere Dubuque Works for many years. On September 13, 1969, Bob was married to Marjorie Kann at St. Marys Catholic Church. From this union they were blessed with two children. Bob enjoyed fishing and golfing in his free time. He was an avid motorcycle rider and was even a member and the director of Custom Riders Incorporated of Dubuque since 2008. Those left to cherish Bobs memory are his daughter, Arian (Dean) Friday and son, Tony (Fianc Jaime) Lake both of Guttenberg; one granddaughter, Claire Friday; sister Kathy Lake; the Dirk Kann Family and the Donna (Mark) Gibson Family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marjorie; friend, Kent Woods; brother in law Dirk Kann; mother and father in law, Dorothy and Bus Kann.All family and friends are welcome to a gathering at Moxies after burial.In Lieu of flowers, plants, statuary, benches and all styles of gifts, memorials may be sent to the Bob Lake Memorial, P.O.
