Survivors include his wife Emily V. Lott of Dyersville, 3 daughters: Joann (Leo) Lynch, Bobie William and Cecelia (Leroy Palmer) Lott, all of Dubuque; 4 sons: Charles (Loretta) Lott of Momence, Ill., Michael (Allison) Lott, David (Julie) Lott and Wayne (Paula) Lott, all of Dubuque; 4 brothers: James Lott and Bishop Lott III of Memphis, Tenn., Willie Lott of Greenwood Miss., and Harry Lott of Nork, New Jersey; 2 sisters: Annie Dean Ham of Detroit, Mich., and Baby Ruth Lupkin of Memphis, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bishop Lott II. Robert B. Lott was born December 26, 1919 in Greenwood, Mississippi the son of Bishop Lott Sr. and Annie Nelson. He married Emily Victoria Reid in Chicago, IL on October 17, 1945. Throughout his life he was a very hard worker and provider for both his children and grandchildren. Daddy was our hero in every kind of way. Robert was a construction worker and helped to build the John Hancock building in Chicago, IL. He was also a farmer in Hopkins Park, IL. for several years. Papa Lott lived a good, long life and went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2006.
